Your "EDC", Every Day Carry Handgun

REVOLVER OR PISTOL ?

There's a reason  gun shops have more pistols in their display case than revolvers. Sales. The day of the revolver is now, with very few exceptions, pretty much at an end.

Semi-automatic pistols offer more variety in size, weight, calibers,  ammunition capacity, actions and makers. Stick with established, quality pistols manufactured in the United States, Germany, Austria, Italy,  Belgium, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, preferably models that have been on the market for at least the last decade.

What should you buy ?

Simply, the handgun that best fits your budget, best fits your hand and your ability to control recoil.   This highly modular Sig P-365 is the best selling handgun in America. Chambered in 9mm and .380, this modular design handgun has  excellent Nite-Light Sights, trigger, and magazine capacity for its class.Another would be the Glock 43X or 48. They are affordable and singularly reliable. The S&W Performance Center, M&P .380 EZ is often the best choice, especially for the female shooter.

so, What's wrong with a Glock ?

Very little. Replace the too thin slidelock/release with the OEM extended version. Then replace the sights with  Tritium night sights. The FBI issues their  Glock 19M and 17M  pistols with tritium night sights . The Glock 48 is actually just a slimmed down version of Glock's most popular pistol worldwide, the Glock 19.
